On August 3rd Hanspeter Hofer died after a long illness.

In 1982 Hanspeter became a member of the Swiss BS. Owing to his excellent skills in breeding budgerigars he achieved champion status in 1996. He could maintain this level until his passing this year. All breeders knew him as a helpful person. He never felt it beneath him to support beginners and provide them with his support in technical or financial aspects.  Wherever there was work to be done (shows, projects etc.) we could count on Hanspeters support.

In Hanspeter we lose a dependable and supportive friend to our cause – a man who contributed a lot to the Swiss BS.

We offer our condolences to his wife and family. They are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
